Take a look at some of the ways we can help below
If you believe that you or a loved one has been subjected to unethical or substandard medical care, Texas Medical Review offers medical record reviews to you and family. We give insight to whether practice standards were met. We are happy to bring transparency to a frustrating and upsetting experience. We even provide written reports on findings. See below for some examples on how we can help.
Substandard Care
Healthcare providers are obligated to provide care which meets industry standards. These standards apply to evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and shared decision making. National guidelines provide benchmarks for quality care in the industry. We can review the care given and opine on whether it met with practice standards.
Unnecessary Procedures
On October 12, 2023, Jenifer Cleveland was found in cardiac arrest in her medical spa in Wortham, TX. She had been receiving IV infusions by poorly supervised personnel. It's questionable to whether these infusions even had medical benefit and they triggered a catastrophic event that led to her death. Don't be exploited. If you have questions about the medical benefit of therapies you received, we're happy to evaluate your records for medically validated indications.
Explanation of Medical Records
For over 200 years, the medical industry has intentionally used confusing terminology to bewilder the public. Even as far as the 1700s, advocates of public empowerment denounced terminology geared to mystify patients and families. We are happy to give plain English interpretations of medical documentation for your education and understanding of what happened during your care.
